ABOUT Seth

Seth kalina

Seth kalina is a jazz musician currently studying at Michigan State University under the mentorship of acclaimed saxophonist Walter Blanding. With a foundation in classical saxophone, having studied under Leo Schlaifer, Seth brings a versatile approach to jazz performance and instruction. Seth began gigging professionally at 14, joined a college-level jazz band, and have performed with numerous artists across Southwest Michigan, including a notable performance at Carnegie Hall. In addition, seth kalina is a dedicated private saxophone instructor, teaching middle and high school students.
